Steel tripod frame with a suspended 14 trampoline
Will it need power?
If it will need power, what is your power plan?
Does the piece incorporate flame effects, moveable pieces, and/or is it climbable?
If it does incorporate flame effects, moveable pieces, and/or is climbable what is your safety plan? [(Note: if flame effects are used, your project will be subject to inspection by the Burnable Art Lead, who has final say if your project will burn during the event).]
We will check springs at regular intervals. The ropes will be rigged by industrial riggers and fabrication work is done by the guy who made lava lounge structure. It’s a solid piece.
Have you completed any other large scale art projects? (In this media? Where and when? How did the project go? Do you have pictures or recordings?)
This project is complete. I’m asking for a grant to offset expenses and to help with upgrades. We need to replace ropes so that they can be tied to clip attachments vs current clamp closure. I’d also like to add lighting and an aerial rig where before silks were directly attached to structure resulting in torn fabric. We had a successful experience at Myschevia but had to replace some clamps during safety checks so feel safety upgrades are necessary for a larger burn.
How much money do you need? (Up to $575) We are looking for a thorough itemized budget and the amount of grant money you are requesting. Please include a reasonably researched estimate of the cost of the materials you expect to need.
Square Steel tubing $1200
Welding supplies $50
Aerial silk and rig/clip $150
Steel plating and rings for top connector $150
