Description: We’ll be able to utilize any art grant funds given this year to add more payphone booths/kiosks! Our long term goal is to replace the difficult to use participant emergency radios with easy to dial, arted, highly lit up phones, and we’re getting closer! As we continue to grow we may even start placing them within Pyropolis at major intersections or other locations such as by the river on the Island. Every art grant I get from here on out will likely be to add another payphone!

Planning to use this budget to add ONE additional payphone kiosk and to partially fund the needed parts to upgrade the previous three to Lithium battery power so they can run in the middle of Badlands/Corral/Field for 5 days on a charge. These phones will of course be used at Flipside, Oblivium, Myschievia, and probably FIGMENT again this year. As I improve them (like with the lightweight lithium batteries!) they get easier to deploy, so I have been taking them more places!
