The Sky is Calling

GLOBROS present “The Sky is Calling”

Calling all cluckers, howlers, and midnight crooners! “The Sky is Calling” is an interactive, sound-responsive canopy of light designed to turn your voice into a visual symphony. Suspended overhead out of reach float the glowing “Rainbow Rings” waiting for the spark of human expression.

When you speak, the rings listen. When you howl, the sky ignites.

Whether you’re offering a solo “cockadoodledoo” or joining a group of strangers for a collective cackle, this installation rewards your radical expression with cascading waves of color and light. We’ve built a visual megaphone for the community—now it’s your turn to pick up the mic.

Don’t be ‘fowl’—give us a howl! Find us between Dusk and Midnight to help us light up the night. Bring a friend, or better yet, make a new one as you join the chorus and turn your best animal sounds into a symphony of light.

A veteran of the Texas burn scene, LuxMunk has been monitoring and lighting up the night since 2018. From assisting Camp Illumination at “To the Moon” to captaining a 30-foot laser-wielding ghost ship for Myschievia 2023, he specializes in immersive environments that leave Burners bewildered truly one of us. A year later, though, he almost missed the boat at Myschievia 2024. A self proclaimed “art install from hell,” he learned brutal lesson in over-commitment and center-stage logistics. Determined to reignite their spark, his crew returned to Myschievia 2025 with a phenomenal, precision-tuned laser show that was lit. Guided by the mantra “It’s not a burn unless you learn,” LuxMunk continues to push the limits of light, scale, and sanity.
