What makes us feel more alive than being at a burn? The Pecan Playa is an intoxicating environment, deep in the heart of Texas that invites each of our own hearts to beat stronger and faster, to connect with each other, to connect with the art that inspires us. 
“Rubatosis” seeks to amplify the heartbeat of participants in the form of fiery bursts that not only mimic their actual pulse, but embody their fiery passion for art. 

I’m Hephaestus (I also go by by Phestus or just Mitch)! I love making detailed art projects and cosplaying zany characters. I’ve been going to burns since 2023 and can’t imagine a better creative outlet, or community to share my passion with.
